Dr. Urvashi Sehgal pioneered Water Birthing in India, having delivered India’s 1st water baby in 2007. Besides Phoenix, she is a visiting consultant in Apollo Cradle, Fortis La Femme & Rosewalk in New Delhi and is a recipient of the President’s Medal MBBS as well as the ‘Distinguished Service Award’ from Indian Medical Association'Distinguished Service Awards from Indian Medical'Pioneer of First Water Birthing Technique in india.
